“I’m happy with the attitude and everything that this team showed tonight. We’re happy with the result because it’s very important. Esposito and Bonny are guys who fit in well with the team, they’re loved by the whole team. They work and put in effort. We’re happy that we have four strikers of great value and that they’re having fun and scoring goals,” said Kivu.
“Nothing is obvious in football. To be competitive, you have to take risks and prove it on the pitch. It’s December, but even the first half of the season isn’t over yet. We know there’s still a long way to go and we want to work and stay competitive.”
Kivu also added: “I don’t care what Conte says. The true value of a team is shown on the pitch. We always keep our heads high and are ready to fight even against difficulties.”
Inter currently lead the Serie A standings with 36 points, one point ahead of Milan and two points ahead of Napoli.
