In the match of the second round of the group stage of the Cup of African Nations, the national teams of Côte d’Ivoire and Cameroon could not decide who was stronger. The meeting, which took place at the Marrakesh Stadium in Morocco, ended in a 1:1 draw.

The Ivorians were the first to score – midfielder Amad Diallo opened the scoring in the 51st minute. However, the advantage did not last long: within five minutes, the Cameroon national team equalized thanks to an own goal by Ghislain Conan. By the final whistle, the teams could no longer change the numbers on the scoreboard.

After two rounds, Côte d’Ivoire and Cameroon have four points each and lead the Group F standings.
