Real Madrid asked the investigating judge to grant full access to Barcelona’s financial records as part of the investigation into the Negreira case. It is reported Mundo Deportivo.

According to the source, the people of Madrid are asking to be allowed to see the audits, inspections and forensic financial reports on the activities of Barcelona between 2010 and 2021.

These include, in particular, documents prepared by external companies such as KPMG, PwC, Deloitte and Kroll, if they relate to payments under investigation.

In addition, Real Madrid wants access to more than 600 documents submitted by Barcelona to the court in July 2023, as well as to the materials of the club’s internal investigation – reports, interviews and internal audits.

The Madrid club’s aim is to find out the nature, purpose and justification of payments related to former referee Jose Maria Henriques Negreira. The final decision on this request must be made by a judge.
