“Of course, this is a story that we wrote together with the club, with the management, with the players, that the team from the village is playing in the UPL. Of course, there was an emotional playoff when we realized that we had already passed.
Now, rolling back these emotions, we probably did not understand what we did. Then understanding came, and I think we prepared well, especially for the first starts, when we were not yet perceived as a team, as players, as a club, we were not yet known. We started well.
Then, when we were already treated differently, of course it became harder for us to play, but we always try to go out and play, regardless of who the opponent is. We don’t just want to gain experience – we want to stay here. It is very cool here, and we are doing everything to stay in the UPL. I want to avoid transitional games. If we prepare very well in the winter and can get higher – why not. We want to stay here as long as possible, and at the same time not just stay, but also develop.
Of course, we want to not get into the zone of transitional games. We had a very good start, now the results are not the best, but looking at our game – in these last games, in which we conceded, we showed a very good meaningful game for a team that came out of the First League.
I feel that we did not deserve to lose in the game against LNZ. I also think that with Rukh we showed a very high-quality game on the ball, but we conceded the ball a little too easily. This is, of course, the merit of the players of Rukh, but there were also our mistakes. But the game we are demonstrating inspires us that we can fulfill these tasks facing the team,” the club’s press service quotes Baranov as saying.
After 16 rounds, Kudrivka scored 15 points and ranks 13th in the UPL standings.
