The famous Swiss coach Lucien Favre has officially announced that he will no longer work in professional football. The specialist explained his decision by his age and the realization that the right moment has come to end his career, noting that the modern coaching staff is rapidly getting younger.

Favre admitted that for many years he lived in a constant working rhythm and almost did not feel the passage of time. However, looking back, he has come to the conclusion that he has done enough and can now calmly look at life outside football.

During his career, Lucien Favre twice became the champion of Switzerland and won the national cup, and together with Borussia Dortmund won the German Supercup.

He also worked with Nice, Borussia Monchengladbach and a number of other European clubs.
