The 33-year-old forward was diagnosed with an injury to the adductor muscle of his left leg. It is expected that he will need several months for a full recovery – a return is possible no earlier than March 2026.
Morata joined Como in the summer after moving from Galatasaray. In the current campaign, he played 15 matches in all competitions and scored one assist. Transfermarkt estimates his value at 11 million euros.
Despite the loss of an experienced forward, Como continues to fight at the top of the Serie A table – the team is sixth with 24 points.
