Kyrylo Osypenko, the author of Dynamo’s only goal in the return match against Scottish Hibernian in the third round of the UEFA Youth League Champions Road, shared his impressions of the game.

“A difficult opponent and a difficult game, but we prepared well and did what we had to do. We are going home with a victory. Everything is good, but there is still a lot of work ahead. This is just the beginning,” he said.

When asked about the motivation after conceding a goal after the break, Osypenko answered: “After the break, it’s unpleasant to concede. The game was more under our control, we could have scored in the first half, but that’s how it turned out. Thank God, we also scored. About the results of the first part of the season, Kyrylo said: “We could have finished the first part of the U19 National League better, but we achieved our result in the UEFA Youth League. We will go to training sessions and prepare directly for the championship and playoffs of the Youth League.”

Regarding the character of the opponent, Osypenko added: “We also want to win. They prepare in their own way, we do in our own way. Our coaching staff chose tactics for the game that suited us and suited the result. I believe that we have a better selection of players, a better team, and we proved it on the field.”

Kyrylo also spoke about his plans for the winter vacation: “At first I plan to rest for a few days, and then I will come back and train. We are all professionals, we must remain professionals on vacation and keep ourselves in good shape. This is our life, so we will do it,” said the football player.
