Borussia Dortmund could not beat Norway’s Bode/Glimt in the match of the 6th round of the Champions League, although they led twice. The visitors from Norway equalized after each Julian Brandt goal to earn them a vital away point.

The first half started with the visitors dominating the game and they had some dangerous moments, including shots from Hög and Silva that almost led to goals. However, Borussia responded quickly with the first goal coming in the 18th minute when Julian Brandt converted a pass from Fabio Silva. After that, the home team kept up the pressure, but were unable to convert their chances, and at the end of the first half, Bode/Glimt unexpectedly equalized after a corner. The goal was scored by Alisami (42nd minute), and the teams went to the break with the score 1:1.

The second half began with active attacks by Borussia, and in the 51st minute Brandt again put the team ahead after finishing off a deflected shot by Bayer. Dortmund seemed to be in control of the game, but again could not hold on to the lead. In the 75th minute, after Anselmino’s injury, the guests equalized again. This time Gauge effectively finished the attack and made the score 2:2.

At the end of the match, Borussia could miss the third goal. Svensson almost put his team ahead, but the ball ended up flying over the crossbar after his shot.
