Atletico’s sporting director denied Barcelona’s interest in Alvarez Mateu Alemani assured that the forward is satisfied with his stay at the club.

“I don’t have any information that he is on Barcelona’s list of transfer targets. He is a very important player for our team and I know he is happy with his stay in Madrid,” Alemany told Diario SPORT.
Alvarez has scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 19 appearances for Atlético in all competitions this season. The attacker’s contract with the “Matrasniki” is calculated until June 2030.
