Atletico have determined the amount for which they are willing to let Conor Gallagher go to Manchester United in the January transfer window. According to Metro, Madrid want to receive about 30 million euros for the English midfielder and are not going to agree to a loan.

United were interested in Gallagher at the end of the summer transfer window, but Atlético then assured the 25-year-old would remain at the club. However, that could change as the midfielder seeks more playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Gallagher joined Atletico in the summer of 2024 for £34million, but has made just three starts this season. Fabrizio Romano confirmed that his departure is possible in the winter:

“If there is an offer for a permanent transfer, everything can change. It may be around 30 million euros. Sources believe that this is a real possibility to get Gallagher already in January.”

The midfielder is also being watched by other clubs from England and Italy, who are closely monitoring the development of events.

In the current season, the Englishman played 22 matches and scored two goals.
