Atalanta returned to winning ways in the Italian league with a 2-0 win over Fiorentina to end a long slump. The last time the Bergamo team won was on September 21 in a match against Torino (3:0), after which they could not get three points during eight rounds — five draws and three defeats.

In the match against the Violets, Palladino’s team managed to break the unpleasant trend. Atalanta’s first goal was scored at the end of the first half by the efforts of Kossun, and already at the start of the second half Lukman doubled the lead.
