Former coach of Kryvbas Yuriy Vernydub will soon lead the Azerbaijani club Neftchi, journalist Fuad Alakbarov reports in X.
According to the source, this week the coach will arrive in Baku to negotiate and sign the contract. For Vernydub, this will be the third foreign club in his coaching career after working in Tiraspol Sherif and Soligorsk Shakhtar.
Vernydub remained without a club since May 2025, after the end of the 2024/25 season, when he left Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas, which he had been in charge of since the summer of 2022.
