Jose Maria Jimenez scored the decisive goal in the 90th+3rd minute to end the Italians’ unblemished run in the Champions League.

Atletico Madrid scored an extra-time winner in an over-the-top and over-dramatic win over Inter in the Champions League. The outcome came at 90+3 minutes, when the captain of the home team, Jose Maria Jimenez, won the horse fight after serving Antoine Griezmann and brought the team three points.

Inter, who until that moment had a 100% result with four wins in four rounds, started the match actively and created several chances through the efforts of Federico Dimarco. However, Atlético scored first: Julián Alvarez found himself in the right place after a ricochet from Baena and scored his anniversary, tenth goal in the Champions League.

After the break, the Italians added and leveled the score – Piotr Zelinski received a fine pass from Bonny and coolly shot past Musso. Inter could have taken the lead, but Barella’s chance was deflected into the frame of the goal.

The hosts responded with pressure at the end and were rewarded: Griezmann took a corner and Jimenez headed in the final score – 2:1 in favor of Atletico Madrid.
