“There is no fool in Kompany with him. Many footballers and people in general appreciate that. I think now I enjoy football the most because I am more involved in the game. He definitely made me better,” said the striker.

Kane, who scored 36 Bundesliga goals in his debut 2023/24 season with Bayern, emphasized that his role in the team has become wider than just scoring goals:

“I like to make tackles, help the team, block shots. I will be judged on the goals, but I think this season people will also appreciate the other things I do,” Harry added.

He also compared his time with Kompany to his time at Tottenham under Antonio Conte:
