The 1368th day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the Russian full-scale military invasion has come to an end.

ESTIMATED LOSSES OF THE ENEMY

INFORMATION FROM THE GENERAL STAFF OF THE ARMY REGARDING THE SITUATION AT THE FRONT (22:00) Since the beginning of the day, 157 combat clashes have taken place.

The enemy made one missile and 32 air strikes, used one missile and dropped 75 guided air bombs. He also used 2,748 kamikaze drones for strikes, carried out 3,243 attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops.

On the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 attacks by invaders. The enemy carried out one air strike, dropped three guided aerial bombs and launched 111 attacks, two of them from rocket salvo systems.

On the Yuzhno-Slobozhansk direction Ukrainian units repulsed three enemy attacks near Vovchansk, Lyman and Synelnikovy, another combat clash is ongoing.

On the Kupyansk direction our soldiers repelled six enemy attacks in Pischany, Petropavlivka and Kupyansk districts. Another battle is currently underway.

On the Lymansky direction two combat clashes took place near the settlement of Novoselivka.

In the Slavic direction the enemy carried out offensive operations ten times in the districts of Serebryanka, Siversk, Sviato-Pokrovsky, Pazeno and Dronivka. Our defenders have stopped nine enemy assaults, one more combat clash continues until now.

On the Kramatorsk direction our defenders successfully repelled one enemy assault towards the settlement of Kostyantynivka.

On the Kostyantynivskyi direction Today, the invaders attacked the positions of our defenders in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka, Ivanopil’a, Stepanivka and in the direction of Mykolaypill’a settlement. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repulsed 15 enemy attacks, currently fighting is taking place in two locations.

During the current day in the Pokrovsky direction the enemy carried out 34 offensive actions. The activity of the Russian occupiers was recorded near the settlements of Rodynske, Chervyn Liman, Myrnograd, Nikanorivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidgorodne, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Zvirove, Novopavlivka, Molodetske, Dachne and Filia. One combat clash continues until now.

Today, according to preliminary data, 83 occupiers have been neutralized in this direction, of which 60 are irreversible. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 24 unmanned aerial vehicles and two units of special equipment of the occupiers. Two artillery systems, two units of automobile equipment and one rocket salvo fire system were also hit.

On the Oleksandrivskyi direction Ukrainian units repelled 16 attacks in the areas of Sosnivka, Verbove, Privilne, Berezovo, Stepove, Krasnohirske, Oleksiivka, Yehorivka and Zlagoda settlements. The enemy carried out airstrikes on the areas of the settlements of Velikomykhailivka, Ostapivske and Kosivtseve.

In the Gulyaipil direction Ukrainian soldiers repelled 18 attacks by occupiers near the settlements of Yablukove, Zatyshsha, Varvarivka, Pryluky, Gulyaipole, Malynyvka, and Vysoke. The settlements of Varvarivka, Ternuvate and Biloghirya were hit by airstrikes.

On the Orihiv direction the enemy twice attacked the positions of our units in the districts of Malaya Tokmachka and Stepnohirsk.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy tried three times to approach the positions of our defenders in the direction of the Antoniv bridge. There was no success. In addition, the occupiers launched an airstrike on Olhivka.

Today is the day when we honor the memory of millions of our people who were killed by hunger. Millions of terrible deaths, and the most – in the Holodomor of 1932-33. It was a systematic attack on the Ukrainian people – a policy of genocide, which today’s Russia inherited and made part of its ideology again. This entire war, which is currently ongoing against Ukraine and may expand to other nations, is a consequence of Moscow’s impunity. Whatever form their regime takes, if they go unpunished, Russia is trying to repeat its evil. Today, millions of our people will light memorial candles – this is our joint honoring of the victims of the Holodomor.

Today I continued coordination with partners: we spoke with the leaders of the countries of Northern Europe and the Baltic states – eight leaders, this entire strong region. And I really appreciate the support, and these are really the defenders of life.

I also spoke with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands today – I thank you for your willingness to help and for your principledness. There will be support packages for Ukraine. We are constantly consulting at various levels with other European friends, and not only Europeans – these are also the countries of the Group of Seven, as well as our friends in the Group of Twenty, other countries of the world – many are ready to support us, ready to support Ukraine. Thanks for that. There will be further negotiations.

And today we still have several internal affairs. We talked in detail with government officials about our next steps in domestic politics. It is important that the winter support program is at a good pace – there are already almost 10 million applications. Payments will begin next week. Funds can be used until June. But, please, the application must be completed in Diya or at Ukrposhta by the end of December this year – by Christmas, we will provide the entire amount of finance.
