The head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, after the draw for the 2026 World Cup selection playoffs, is considering the venue for the home matches of the “blue-yellow” team in March. UPL TV quotes his words.

“100 percent, if we pass Sweden, we will not play against the Polish national team in Poland – this is not normal. Now we are choosing a place. Yesterday we just found out the opponent, now we will decide where to hold these matches, but I think it will not be in Poland.

We are talking about both matches, we don’t have to constantly move. You know the logistics. I believe that if we choose a certain stadium, a certain country, then we should hold both matches there,” said Rebrov.

Ukraine will play against Sweden in the semifinals of the 2026 World Cup selection playoffs. The winner of this pair will play Poland or Albania in the final. The matches will be held on March 26 and 31.
