Girona winger Christian Porto is out for a long time due to a serious injury. This was reported by the press service of the club.

On Wednesday, November 19, the 33-year-old Spaniard was injured during training, after which he underwent a medical examination.

As a result of the examination, it turned out that Christian had a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee. Tomorrow, November 21, he has to undergo an operation.

The exact terms of the player’s recovery are not mentioned, but there are already predictions that he will miss about six months.

This season, Porto played 11 matches in which he scored one assist.
