Danish centre-back Andreas Christensen is seeing limited playing time this season at Barcelona with less than eight months left on his contract.

The club is in no hurry to extend the contract with the 29-year-old performer, so soon he will have the opportunity to personally negotiate with any other team regarding the continuation of his career.

And, of course, the matter could not do without interest from the Middle East in the player of such a famous club.

An-Nasr offered Barça 15 million euros this summer, and the Catalans were ready to accept this offer, but Christensen himself refused the transfer because he wanted to finish the four-year contract to the last.

At the same time, An-Nasr got Iñigo Martinez, but the Arabs’ interest in the Dane did not cool down.

The Saudi Arabian club are expected to approach the player again in the winter transfer window with an offer to sign a pre-contract, while Barcelona are hoping to sign the player until the end of the season.

Christensen has played just 342 minutes in 10 games this season so far.
