Today, Russian forces carried out one missile and 33 air strikes, used one missile and dropped 62 guided aerial bombs. In addition, 2,440 kamikaze drones were involved in the strikes and 2,999 attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two assaults by the occupiers. In addition, the enemy carried out one air strike, dropping four guided air bombs, and also carried out 145 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, one of which was from a rocket salvo system.
In the Yuzhno-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units near Vovchansk, Kamianka and towards the settlement of Kolodyazne six times. One battle is still going on.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out offensive actions four times in the areas of Petropavlivka, Pishchane and Kupyansk settlements.
In the direction of Lyman, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces seven times in the direction of the settlements of Korovyn Yar, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman and in the direction of Oleksandrivka. Three clashes are still ongoing.
Seven enemy assaults were repulsed by Ukrainian defenders in the Slavyansk direction – the occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Serebryanka, Yampol and in the directions of Siversk and Zvanivka.
In the direction of Kramatorsk, the enemy twice tried to break through the defense of our defenders in the direction of Bondarny and in the direction of Virolyubivka, but was repulsed.
On the Kostiantynivka direction, the Russians attacked 19 times the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Rusyny Yar and in the direction of Kostiantynivka, Stepanivka, and Sofiivka. One battle is still going on.
In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units 47 times. The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Chervyn Liman, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Novoeconomichne, Novopavlivka, Rivne, Kotlyna, Udachne, Molodetske, Filia, Dachne. In four locations, the fighting has not subsided until now.
According to preliminary data, 68 occupiers were neutralized in this direction today, 45 of them irreversibly. Also, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 15 unmanned aerial vehicles, two motorcycles; 12 shelters for enemy personnel and two motorcycles were damaged.
In the Oleksandrivsk direction, the enemy tried 18 times to break through the defenses of our defenders in the areas of Zeleny Gay, Sosnivka, Verbove, Oleksiivka, Privilne, Rivnopillia, Rybne, Pavlivka, Krasnohirske settlements. Kolomyitsy and Pokrovske were hit by airstrikes.
In the Gulyaipil direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 17 times in the areas of Dobropill, Zeleni Hay, Zatyshsh, Vesely. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Orihiv direction, the enemy once attacked the positions of our defenders in the Primorsky region. Zaliznychne and Novoandriivka were hit by unguided aerial missiles.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy tried twice in vain to approach the positions of our defenders. Prydniprovske was hit by an enemy airstrike.
Today, it is worth noting the soldiers of the 426th separate battalion of unmanned systems, who effectively destroy the enemy, causing him significant losses in manpower and equipment.
There were no significant changes in the rest of the directions.
Spain consistently implements our bilateral security agreement, and this gives confidence in the annual support of a billion euros every year. Thank you for Spain’s willingness to contribute 100 million euros to the PURL program. And this is a program that allows us to buy air defense missiles for our defense. They discussed challenges in the energy sector after the Russian strikes – there is a readiness of Spain to help. Thank you for the economic package – 200 million euros, including energy. And now we also have an agreement that Spain will direct funds under the SAFE program – more than 200 million euros – to joint defense work with us. It is tangible, and it is the right example for other European states.
Grateful for the new package of defense assistance, including missiles for air defense. The total amount of the package is 300 million euros, and this will help significantly. Thank you Spain, Pedro Sanchez for supporting Ukraine, our people, our independence since the start of a full-scale war. And this is fundamental support.
