The youth national team of Ukraine U-19 confidently completed the qualifying round of Euro-2026, defeating their peers from Slovakia with a score of 3:0 and taking first place in the group. This is already the third consecutive “dry” victory of Dmytro Mykhaylenko’s team — after 3:0 against Albania and 3:0 against Montenegro.

The Ukrainians decided the fate of the meeting in the first half. In the 17th minute, Bohdanov accurately scored with his head after a corner kick. In half an hour, Digtyar doubled the advantage in a similar way – with a header under the crossbar. And before the half-time whistle, Kamensky passed several opponents and shot at Popov, after which the Slovakian defender cut the ball into his own goal.

In the second half, the teams created several hot moments, but the score remained unchanged.

Ukraine confidently finished in the group with the maximum result and qualified for the elite round for the first time, which will take place in the spring of 2026.
