The German national team defeated Slovakia (6:0) in the 2026 World Cup qualifying round match.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side opened the scoring in the 18th minute through Nick Voltemade’s effort, followed by Serge Gnabry’s goal in the 29th minute.

Then, before the end of the first half, Leroy Sane scored a double, consolidating the advantage of the German national team.

In the middle of the second half, the rout continued for Bothe Baku, and the final point in the match was put by Forzan Assan Ouedraogo in the 79th minute.

Thus, Germany took first place in the group and qualified for the 2026 World Cup, while Slovakia went to the playoffs. The last places in the group were occupied by Northern Ireland and Luxembourg.
