According to SPORT BILD, scouts from Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG regularly visit the German club’s matches to monitor the young Ivorian’s progress.
Diomande, who turns 19 on Friday, has been in exceptional form in his first season in the Bundesliga. In 10 league matches, he has 6 productive actions, 3 goals and 3 assists, scoring a goal every 89 minutes.
His performances and potential have already led to comparisons with stars such as Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele. Diomande himself has previously admitted that he considers Vinicius Junior to be the best player to compare him to, but his idol in terms of mentality is Mbappe and his favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo.
RB Leipzig only signed Diomande in the summer from Leganes for €20 million. His contract runs through 2030 and has no buyout clause.
According to Sky Germany, the German club have already put a €100 million price tag on their talent to scare away potential buyers. Despite this, one of the giants is expected to try to sign the player next summer.
