The Croatian plays for Girona on loan from Fenerbahce but has yet to make a single appearance for the Catalans, losing out on competition for a place in the starting line-up to Paulo Gassanizi. Livakovic wants to get stable game practice in order to establish himself in the Croatian national team and qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
In the last match of the Spanish Cup with Constantia, Livakovych did not play due to back pain, and Ukrainian Vladyslav Krapyvtsov took his place. Before moving to Girona, Dominik played just two matches for Fenerbahce this season. According to UEFA rules, if he plays at least one match for Girona, he will not be able to play for a third club in the current season.
Girona is currently in 18th place in Primera with 10 points. The team’s next match will be against Betis on November 23.
