The head coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, spoke about the contract situation in Milan of the team’s goalkeeper Mike Magnan. His words are quoted by MilanNews.
“I used to sign contracts with players during the World Cups. It’s not my issue; it’s the clubs’ issue. These days things like that play a much smaller role.
I think the players are more relaxed about it. Nevertheless, ideally, it is better to decide on your future before the big tournament,” said Deschamps.
The goalkeeper’s current employment contract with the Rossoneri runs until June 30, 2026.
This season, Mike Magnan played 11 matches for Milan, conceding seven goals and keeping six clean sheets.
