Southampton announced the signing of midfielder Oriol Romeu on their official website.
The deal with the 34-year-old Spaniard runs until the end of this season.
Oriol has already played for the Saints from 2015 to 2022. He has 256 matches to his credit.
Romeu’s previous club was Barcelona, which he left last summer as a free agent. He played 31 games last season.
After 14 rounds, Southampton has 15 points and is only 19th in the Championship standings.
