The young Greek quickly became one of the most notable young defenders in the Bundesliga. Both EPL clubs are actively looking to strengthen the defensive line.
Liverpool are eyeing Koulierakis as a strategic long-term replacement for Ibrahim Konate, whose injury problems are a concern and talks over a new contract are rumored to be progressing in a difficult manner.
