According to the press service of the London club, the 27-year-old forward felt muscle discomfort in the game of the English championship against Burnley (2:0) and was replaced at halftime.
“He definitely won’t be able to go on the field. He didn’t train today and we have to do some more tests to understand the extent of the injury. I’m worried because Victor didn’t have any serious muscle problems before, but this time he felt something – and that’s never a good sign. Especially for a player who is very explosive,” Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta said.
