The International Federation of Football History and Statistics IFFHS announced the list of contenders for the title of the best playmaker of 2025.

The performance of players from January to December of the current year is taken into account in the rating. The jury includes sports journalists and experts from 120 countries.

They apply for the award: Arda Guler (Real Madrid), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Florian Wirtz (Bayern/Liverpool), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City/Napoli), Lamin Yamal (Barcelona), Martin Edegaard (Arsenal), Pedri (Barcelona), Vitinha (PSG), Lionel Messi (Inter Miami), James Rodriguez (Leon), Reo Hatate (Celtic), Mohammed Qudus (West Ham/Tottenham) and Malik Tillman (PSV/Bayer).

Voting results will be known after December 10.
