“The difficult match is as we expected. The cup match did not turn out pretty for the fans, because both teams played to achieve a result. There is no right to make a mistake in cup matches, so it was necessary to play as rationally as possible. If in the championship you can make a mistake in a match and then correct the situation, it is impossible to do in the cup. But we got ahead and, accordingly, we play well in two tournaments, and this is important for the club and the team.
We play every game to win. As soon as I joined the team, I told the guys that we should also win every control match at the meeting so that we have the psychology of a winner. If we play consistently in all matches, this team will achieve results. It’s nice how the guys work. Of course, it is nice that for the first time in history, LNZ reached the 1/4 of the Cup of Ukraine, but the championship is just as important. There are no unimportant matches for us.
The next opponent of Carpathians? We will work as usual. We will analyze how the Carpathians play. We will choose tactics for them. A good team with good, quality football players.
