The incident happened on September 25, when Barcelona beat Oviedo 3:1. During the game, one of the home fans shouted the insulting word negrata at the English forward, which is a crude racist term used to refer to people with dark skin.
The State Commission for Combating Violence, Racism and Intolerance in Sport in Spain proposed imposing a fine of 4,000 euros on the violator.
