Newcastle boss Eddie Gough has shared his thoughts on Tottenham ahead of the League Cup Round of 16 tie.

“They build the game differently, they are aggressive without the ball. They have different ways to win, including the standards. I give credit to Thomas Frank and his staff,” Gau quoted BBC.

Gau recalled last year’s victory in the tournament: “It was an incredible feeling. After that, you want to repeat it as soon as possible.”

Regarding injuries: Sven Botman is concussed but did not practice. Lewis Hall is the closest to returning but will miss the game. Livramento will recover before the match against Man City (November 22). Yoan Vissa is out with a knee injury.
