Arsenal have begun work on a new long-term deal for winger Bukayo Saka. As reported by BBC News, the management of the club aims to keep its pet in the team for a long period and make him one of the highest paid football players in the team.

The 24-year-old Englishman is currently under contract until the summer of 2027, but Arsenal are keen to secure the player as early as possible given his key role in Mikel Arteta’s side.

In the current season, Saka played 10 matches, scored 3 goals and remains one of the main leaders of the team.

In addition, Arsenal have already opened talks with centre-back Jurrien Timber to extend his contract. The club also plan to renegotiate the terms of midfielder Declan Rice’s deal in the future, despite having more than two years left on his contract.
