Giuseppe Sala has said that City, Inter and Milan are in the final stages.

Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala has announced that the long-awaited sale of the arena to Inter and Milan football clubs is close to completion. Speaking on Tuesday 28 October at the opening of the new municipal market, Sala provided a key update on the status of negotiations.
“We have come to the point where we think that by Friday the final deed of sale will be signed,” La Gazzetta dello Sport quoted the mayor as saying.
Sala confirmed that the process is in an active phase:
“We are working on it for hours with the notary and with both clubs.”
This means that the municipality of Milan and the clubs have reached an agreement to transfer the stadium and surrounding areas to the ownership of Inter and Milan, paving the way for further plans to renovate or build a new arena.
