Aberdeen have appointed 52-year-old German Lutz Pfannenstiel as sporting director. Exvorotar played for 25 clubs in 13 countries, became the first footballer to play on all continents, and became famous for his amazing adventures.

Pfannenstiel served 101 days in a Singapore jail on false match-fixing charges, stole a penguin in New Zealand and was pronounced dead on the field three times.

After his career, he worked for Hoffenheim, Fortuna Dusseldorf and St. Louis City, and founded the charity Global United.
