London Arsenal narrowly beat neighbors Crystal Palace in the 9th round of the Premier League.
This victory for the “gunners” was the 700th in English Premier League matches. Thus, Arsenal became only the second club to reach the 700-win mark in the EPL since the reform carried out in 1992 (transition from the First Division to the EPL). Only Manchester United have won more matches in the Premier League – 760.
Liverpool won 682, Chelsea – 671, Tottenham – 556, Manchester City – 555.
It should be noted that Arsenal last won the Premier League title in the 2003/04 season, and Manchester United in the 2012/13 season.
