Ultras Como have strongly criticized the possibility of holding a Serie A match against Milan in February 2026 on the territory of Australia, namely in the city of Perth. In an appeal published on social networks, fans called such a decision a “farce” and called on the club’s management to refuse participation in this initiative.

“Como without its people is not Como. You talk about sacrifice as if it is an abstract concept. For us, sacrifice is a daily reality when we work all week and cover hundreds of kilometers on Sundays just to be in the stadium,” the fans said in a statement.

Ultras emphasized that real support for the club is not in business class, but in the stands in the rain and cold. In their opinion, football should remain for the people and not become a victim of commerce.

“Football was born from people, not from marketing strategies. Our faith does not travel in business class and stays here. Show some dignity and do not accept this invitation. You cannot buy passion. Do not be complicit in this farce,” the ultras emphasized.

Earlier it was reported that Serie A plans to hold several matches as part of an experiment outside of Italy, in particular — in Australia, the United States or Saudi Arabia. Milan and Como are one of the likely pairings for such a meeting.
