Polish Legia defender Pavel Vsholek commented on the upcoming match of the main stage of the Conference League against Shakhtar Donetsk.

“A big club like Legia cannot lose three matches in a row. We feel huge disappointment and sporting aggression. I am very happy that we have another match in three days. We have to get back to action, because we have an amazing level of skill.

You can’t blame everything on the coach. We have to play the same way as in training. Then I am sure that we will be able to win regularly. We have to start from scratch. Everyone should give their all.

We have a problem with away matches: that’s where we lose points. We understand that, we have seriously discussed it. Sometimes it’s better to just show what we’re capable of on the field. It is not about changing the coach every month or two. Let’s demand the maximum from ourselves – from the players.

We lost three matches in a row, not five or seven. Such moments happen. In such moments, strong teams and players with character are recognized. We have matches ahead of us where we want and must demonstrate this character. We must give all our strength and demand the maximum from ourselves. This is very important,” the press service of the club quotes Vsholeka as saying.

We will remind you that the match between Shakhtar and Legia will take place tomorrow, October 23, at 19:45 Kyiv time.
