UEFA has appointed the referee teams for the match of the second round of the main stage of the UEFA Conference League 2025/26, which will take place on Thursday, October 23.

The match between Shakhtar Donetsk and Polish Legia was entrusted to Portuguese Gustavo Correia, who will be assisted by Andre Diaz and Thiago Costa. The role of reserve referee went to Claudio Pereira.

Andre Narcisu and Bruno Esteves will be responsible for the VAR system.

Before that, the 33-year-old Portuguese did not meet with Ukrainian clubs, but officiated the match between Ukraine and England (3:2) in the qualification for Euro U-21 in 2023.

The match between Turkish Samsunspor and Dynamo Kyiv will be officiated by an Icelandic team of referees led by Ivar-Orri Kristiansson, who will be assisted by Birkir Sigurdarsson and Sjölfi Sigurdsson. The role of the fourth referee will be performed by Viljalmur Thorarinson.

Austrians Manuel Schüttengruber and Alexander Harkam will be responsible for the video replay system.

Before that, the 36-year-old Icelander had no contact with Ukrainian clubs or national teams.

As a reminder, the match between Shakhtar and Legia will start at 7:45 p.m. Kyiv time, and the match between Samsunspor and Dynamo Kyiv will start at 10:00 p.m.
