Former player of the national team of Ukraine Denys Oliynyk has officially started a new stage in his football career — the 38-year-old Ukrainian has been appointed head coach of the youth team of the Finnish club SIK.

In addition to working with the youth, Oliynyk will also join the coaching staff of the first team, where he will be the assistant to the head coach.

This appointment became a symbolic step in the development of Oliynyk: during his performances in Finland, he played 116 matches and scored 29 goals for SIK, and in 2021, together with the team, he became the bronze medalist of the country’s championship.

His last club was amateur Avangard (Lozova), which stopped cooperation with the player in September.
