Former Chelsea head coach Graham Potter could soon be appointed coach of the Swedish national team. This was reported by the insider Nicolo Scira.

According to the source, negotiations between the leadership of the Swedish Football Federation and the 50-year-old Englishman have already started.

Potter’s last place of work was West Ham, which he left at the end of September. He also coached Chelsea, Brighton, Swansea and Ostersund.

Earlier, Sweden parted ways with Jon-Dahl Thomasson, who was fired due to unsatisfactory results in the selection of the 2026 World Cup. The Swedes occupy the last place in the selection group.

We should also add that earlier Potter spoke positively about the possibility of leading the Swedish national team.
