Former attacking midfielder of the national team of Ukraine Viktor Kovalenko became player Arisa Limassol. This was officially reported by the club.

A 29-year-old free agent football player has signed a two-year contract with the leading club of Cyprus, which will be in effect until the summer of 2027.

The last two seasons Kovalenko spent in the Italian series A in Empoli, where he played 25 matches, was distinguished by three goals and one productive transmission.

Shakhtar Academy made his debut for the main team in 2015 and quickly established himself as one of his generation players. In the same year, he became the best scorer of the U-20 World Cup. In total, Shakhtar Kovalenko spent 199 matches, scored 32 goals and made 12 assistants, winning 4 championship titles, 4 cups of Ukraine and 2 superc.

In February 2021, the midfielder moved to the Italian Atlanta, where he spent only one incomplete match (3 minutes), after which he was leased to spices. He played 47 matches as part of this club, distinguished himself with one goal and five assistants.

In the international arena, Kovalenko advocated all the youth teams of Ukraine, and in 2016 received a call to the national team, for which he made 33 matches.
