The second round of the final part of the youth championship of Europe from futsal for the national team of Ukraine was difficult. After the devastating victory over Moldova (7: 0) in the starting round, the Ukrainians faced the more serious opposition and the skill of rivals in the duel against Portugal.

The Portuguese opened the score in the 5th minute: Montera struck exactly into the gate. Despite the active game of Ukrainians, who sometimes forced opponents to be nervous and had their moments, 2 seconds before the end of the first half, our boys missed the second goal.

In the second half of the game, Portugal continued to dominate. Montera designed a hat-trick and guaranteed his team the first step in group A, scoring two more balls. The final whistle recorded the defeat of Ukraine U-19 with a score of 0: 4.

The next match for the team of Igor Moskvich is the decisive match of the group against Italy (October 1) for reaching the semifinals of Euro-2025. The Italians also defeated Moldova, but missed twice (2: 7). The Portuguese they gave way to 1: 7.
