Former Barcelona player and 2018 World Champion Samuel Umtiti announced his career at 31, hanging his boots on a nail.

Despite the relatively early age to complete, the exFFATBOLIST believes that he gave the sport all he could.

“After an intense career, full of ups and falls, time to say goodbye. I gave everything I could. I want to thank all the clubs in which I spoke, to all the coaches and players I collaborated with,” the football player wrote.

In Barcelona Umtiti spent six years, but because of injuries he almost did not appear on the field and for a long time refused to leave the club with mutual agreement.
