Mayor Giuseppe Sala said Inter and Milan had reached an agreement on the acquisition of San Siro Stadium.

“Everything is okay. We will turn to the city council on Wednesday with a resolution for the sale of San Siro, since we actually reached an agreement with club Ansa.

Sala added that the new stadium should be ready by 2031, because UEFA will not consider Milan as the venue of Euro 2032 matches if San Siro. The selling of the stadium should be approved by the end of the month.

This agreement can be a key step for the construction of a new stadium that will improve the infrastructure of the city and clubs.
