Central Defender of the England Team Mark Gaya will refuse to continue the contract with Cristalus Peles and plans to leave the club free agent next summer, reports journalist Gary Jacob from The Times.

The 25-year-old football player was close to the transition to Liverpool to a transfer window: “Eagles” accepted an offer of 35 million pounds, and the player himself started medical tests and was in the office of Merismid in London, waiting for the agreement. However, the transfer broke, and the gay remained in the Londoners.

Now the defender, whose contract ends in the summer of 2026, will be able to sign a previous agreement with a foreign club in January. The main contender for him can be Liverpool again.

The decision not to sell the football player caused internal tension in the club. Head coach Oliver Glasner feared that he would lose the captain without proper replacement, as Peles could not sign any of the targeted central defenders this summer.
