The former midfielder Manchester United Paul Pogba returned to training after a two -year break caused by the disqualification for doping and numerous injuries. A 31-year-old Frenchman who has signed a two-year contract with Monaco is currently undergoing individual classes and the club prepares him for a full return to the team.

General Monaco’s manager Tyago Sky positively appreciated the first steps of Pogba: “Everything goes in the right direction. He began to train on the field and makes progress. Time is correct, the process is positive, so far without any yellow flags or indentations.”

However, he emphasized that Pogba should prove his readiness for high loads: “Intensity, pressure and level are very high. It will have to be able to repeat this training load every day. Then we will see his body adapt.”

The main goal of Pogba is to return to the France national team and take part in the 2026 World Cup. To do this, he needs to prove his physical and psychological stability. If everything goes according to the plan, its return to the field can happen in October, perhaps in the derby against Nice. His progress is closely monitored by the head coach of the French national team Didier Deham.
