The 19-year-old goalkeeper of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas Igor Omelchenko did not return with the team to Ukraine after the end of the summer pre-season assembly, which took place in Slovenia. This was reported on the website of the Ukrainian Club.

“Today, information about the goalkeeper of FC Kryvbas Igor Omelchenko appeared in the Ukrainian media, who allegedly left the team location at the meeting.

FC Kryvbas informs that the football player Igor Omelchenko unauthorized left the location of the team at a meeting in Slovenia and did not return to Ukraine with the team. The club contacted the player, but he refuses to return to FC Kryvbas.

Kryvbas continues to take all necessary measures to return the football player to the team location and communicates with the relevant authorities regarding the issue. FC Kryvbas informed UPL about the current situation.

The football player has a valid contract with our club for another year. We urge Igor Omelchenko to return to the fulfillment of contractual obligations, ” – said the club’s statement.

Earlier it was reported that the striker of Metalist 1925 Sidorov left the boundaries of Ukraine without the permission of the club.
