“As I said earlier, we started training with a small group of football players. In Slovenia, the team was gradually growing and replenished by newcomers. Thanks to this, we became physically stronger – from a small group they turned into a full team that can work more intensively in training.
I really liked the friendly matches – we played strong opponents. With each game, the team had the opportunity to improve: not only to improve the physical form, but also to develop the game. It was nice to see my players competing with worthy rivals.
In general, everything went great – the team became stronger in all aspects. I especially want to highlight the last game against Dynamo Zagreb – it was a real lesson for us. We have received a lot of useful information from this confrontation, and we will work on these moments over the next weeks.
All rivals were really strong, and each team demonstrated its unique football style – it is an extremely valuable experience for us. In addition, all our performers, without exception, were able to play, which is very important to evaluate their level. Each friendly match gave me a lot of useful information. The team and I will work on these moments for the next weeks.
I was pleasantly surprised by the football qualities of my wards. Speaking of the last friendly match, it was he who gave us the most positive ideas. The game showed what else you need to work on training and how to prepare for the coming championship.
I am pleased with the players we chose with the Scout department and the club management. It is these players that match our style of the game that we want to see. They are young and we have the opportunity to prepare them and develop in the direction we need. It pleases me. We continue to search for players in some positions.
