Alexandria is currently holding a match of the second round of the League of Conferences against the Serbian guerrilla.

During the match, the club’s press service reported that the Vice-Champion of Ukraine faced an unexpected ban on entering the field with the flag of our country.

“Alexandria’s football club arrived in Belgrade for an important match, but faced an unexpected ban – to enter the field with the flag of Ukraine. We were deeply disappointed with this decision, because our flag is not just a piece of fabric. It is a symbol of our identity, our freedom and our unbreakable will.

Despite this ban, we want to clearly state: we have always gone out, go out and come out with our blue and yellow flag. Wherever we are-on the football field, at international competitions or anywhere in the world-we are proud to carry our flag. Because it is the embodiment of each of us, our hearts, our aspirations.
