Asmer Begovich officially became Lester player. The 38-year-old goalkeeper joined the club on the rights of a free agent, having concluded an agreement for a period of one season. The transition will be finally approved after the league approval.

Last season, Begovich spent in Everton, and earlier he defended the colors of Quins Park Rangers under the guidance of the current mentor Lester Marty Sifuentsa. For Londoners, the Bosniets spent 46 matches in all tournaments in the 2023/24 season.

The former Portsmouth player, City, Bournemut and Chelsea, he has more than 250 matches in the Premier League. Begovich also played 63 matches for the National Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the near future, the newcomer will meet the team and can take part in the final predecesson match of Lester against Fiorentina, which will be held on August 3.
